Delete account

1. Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open Mapa and go to Settings → Your data: export and deletion.
2. Optional: tap Export to save a copy of your data first.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm with Delete for good. The data on your phone is deleted as well.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

You can restore your purchases later in Settings → Restore purchases with the same Apple or Google account.

2. Request by email without the app

If the app is no longer installed, send us an email to buero@wob.mba. This link opens a prepared message: Open account deletion email.

Please delete my account in the Mapa app and all related data.

We delete the account within one month and confirm this by email. If necessary, we ask questions to make sure the request comes from you.

If you used the app without signing in with Apple or Google, your account is anonymous and we cannot find it by email address. In that case, please delete it in the app. If an anonymous account is not used for 6 months, we delete it automatically.

3. What is deleted

• your account and the sign-in link with Apple or Google (for Apple we also revoke the sign-in authorisation);
• birth data, names, settings and consents;
• synced journal and mood;
• friendships and shared results;
• AI consultant conversations and memory;
• push tokens and the purchase status stored by us;
• all app data on this phone.

4. What is kept

• Purchases: purchase receipts are kept by Apple and Google as sellers, including where tax retention obligations apply. We do not keep personal data for this. Your purchases stay linked to your store account and can be restored in a new account.
• Subscription: deletion does not end Mapa Daily. Please cancel the subscription first in the App Store or Google Play settings.
• Statistics without personal reference: aggregated figures that cannot be linked to any person.
• Backups: data in backups is overwritten in the regular backup cycle.
